The Joy of Friendship

Last Sunday my husband and I hosted a dinner with two other couples – an annual tradition that has been going on for close to twenty years. The three women met at different times while working at IBM and gradually the six of us became a group who have travelled together, celebrated life’s accomplishments and milestones, discussed the important events of the day, wined and dined, comforted one another, empathized during difficult times, and shared many laughs.

In this season of joy, light and love, it seems fitting to pay tribute to the joy of friendship. The photo was taken in 2004 – none of us looks a day older!

Wishing you all the joy of friendship.
