Novels by M.K.Tod
Stories of resilience, strength, and hope
War is an insidious beast that lingers long after the last shot is fired. Humanity is stretched to the breaking point. Definitions of right and wrong become unhinged and even carefully buried memories can erupt at a moment’s notice.
Researching and writing novels set during wars – the siege of Paris, WWI and WWII – has been a revelation. Each story allowed me to explore the human dimension of ordinary people involved in extraordinary times – the profound effect of war on men and women, on relationships and friendships, on life and love. They’ve made me ask questions like: could I have been so brave? how would I have coped? would love have survived or been crushed in the aftermath?
