Many of you know that my mother passed away in late February. A few weeks ago, I found this clipping in with some of her papers. Based on its faded look, I suspect it’s something she cut out to reflect the relationship she had with her mother – a woman who inspired the character Ann Jamieson in my novel Unravelled.

And now, the same clipping speaks to me.

Makes me a little teary writing this. I hope it prompts some thoughts for you of the special people in your life.
