Looking for inspiration?

My husband and I have the good fortune to be biking in the Loire valley – a place that is famous for its lovely countryside and beautiful chateaus. Which one of these sparks the imagination for a story? Who knows!!

The chateau at Chaumont
Amboise castle
The famous Chenonceau

Which would you choose? (There’s a few more to come on the trip!)

  1. I remember visiting the Castle at Chaumont-sur-Loire at night, with only candle lights. It was magic! And it actually gave me a better feeling of how it was at the time for its inhabitants. I also really liked the Villandry gardens, Blois and Chambord of course…
