We’ve been on holiday with friends in Newfoundland and Labrador – the only Canadian province I hadn’t visited. And what a stunning place it is. The wild beauty of hills, fiords and small fishing villages, the romance of the sea and some of the most welcoming people ever encountered. Truly a gem as these photos attest.

More than 350 photos so far. But don’t take my word for it, come and visit!

I’m so jealous! I must get back there. BTW, you won my contest. Check your email. XO
I didn’t see Twig, though, Downith!! I’ll look forward to the anthology.
Beautiful, Mary. I’ve had it in mind to vacation in the Maritime Provinces. Now you make me want to add Newfoundland to the trip. Thanks for sharing your photos.
The Maritimes would be quite a change from where you live, Carol!! I hope you visit and if you pass through Toronto, let me know!!
Gorgeous pics. I’m heading to PEI and Cape Breton in September!
I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time, Gale. We took our children there many years ago – Cape Breton also has that wild sort of beauty.
what a lovely place and I love the photos:)
Thanks, Olga. My hubby is the photographer – for some reason, I’ve never mastered the camera! Too many nobs to adjust 🙂
Oh, envy! Envy! I spent two summers in Maine, both times determined to get up there. But just never could make it happen. More pics please!
